The 11th ISSS symposium will take place in the new congress hall of the University of Pardubice,
close to the downtown area.

City
Pardubice is a regional center of chemical and food industry,
sport and culture. The city has approximately 100 000 inhabitants and is famous by local ginger bread and beer production,
an October steeplechase (the second one after the Great Liverpool in Europe) and a succesfull ice-hockey team.
It has a well-preserved calm historical center and a castle, dating back to the beginning of 16th century.
